Chocolate

After coming home from giving plasma, I dipped chocolates. First I dipped the cherries I had in the back of the refrigerator, then I dipped the rum cherries. After that, I made Irish Cream truffles. I still had a bit of dipping chocolate after I got done with those, so I made some trail mix clusters.

I'm taking the lot to writing group, and everyone else is bringing assorted things. We're going to have lots and lots of chocolates.

Sis taste-tested the Irish Cream truffles, and told me they were great for everyone else, and as far as she was concerned, she wanted more Irish Cream.

Day: trips and presents

I'm going over to V's for a snack before writing group (I haven't actually eaten anything but random snacks since breakfast), so I'll be leaving shortly.

Sis's workplace chipped in and got a boatload of gifts for the LF this year (since the money Mommy would have spent on him wound up fixing the car when it got its ignition mashed) so those are currently hiding on the top bunk of my bed, with one of my privacy curtains covering the lot.

shammash discovered it, and decided to go and hide there like a tabby elf. Since he does chew paper, he was shooed out with little ceremony. I didn't get a photo.

The Little Fayoumis's new favorite food is peanut butter with cinnamon and sugar on bagels, toasted in the toaster oven.
