Ikea for Newbies

Dinner was much fun. I am quiet and chatty by turns, mostly reflecting off the person or people I'm hanging around with. It seems that my experience with the LF was sufficient to get me accustomed to small children (well, that and babysitting, but there was a lot more of the LF) and fortunately my purse was in a condition where it could be safely dismantled by a small kid. (Flashlights on keychains are good for almost endless amusement, especially when the keychain is on a leash.)

There's an Ikea raid planned for Saturday, and it's going to have to be Saturday afternoon, because the redhead (hcolleen) works in the morning. (Goodness, there are a lot of redheads around these parts!)

Then I went across the street to see trystan_laryssa, and we chatted for a while. Con over; she'll be with us next week. She wanted to thank hcolleen for introducing dustraven and her to their new favorite character. This thanking was done with a rose pen; I presented it in evidently the appropriate style, though not while shouting the name of the attack.

Is bedtime.

I do not think that I would run magic battery power that smells foul directly into my beautiful new machine either. I like Big D's take on things in that fic. A lot.
