Alien pizza party time.

I agree with a lot of it so far as it relates to passive-aggression, and as far as people I don't have a personal relationship with, but when personal relationships start getting involved, things start to get complicated. (Thank goodness my drama tends to come in screaming hysterics and related to my love life. That makes it simple. Either that, or it's something sufficiently removed from the best friend so he can take a look at it and point out where I'm being an idiot, and that makes things so much better. Everyone should have a best friend like that. I'm just sayin'.)
I'm watching Ghosts of Albion: Embers, with a large degree of reluctance. The animation is ... idiosyncratic. I far prefer the spongmonkeys1, 2, 3, to be honest... But I've watched this far, so I might as well continue the story. The story isn't bad. But I can only take one partial episode at a time before my attention goes whizzing off onto the next thing.
Hooray talking to Dawn! She was doing some cross-training last week, so she was very cross.

If you haven't read the Foreigner series, you're missing out on a delightful drama of manners, with space backstory and plenty of alien mindset to go around, with a human diplomat/linguist surrounded on all sides by aliens and alien tangles of courtesy and biologically-compelled politics.

2) Warning, audio link, autoplays.
3) Not safe for sanity.
