Happy Birthday, LF

Today will always be the LF's birthday. He's 16 now.

It'll also be the a day when I remember, no matter what, how my friends and family needed to know we were there and we were safe.

I prefer to not think of why. I couldn't deal with it then, which is why I was glued to the news and couldn't stop taking notes, as if by knowing everything I could control the horror. Most of all, I remember my best friend next to me, as terrified as I was, and holding on like hell.
