Handmade Swords - Viking Sword

Maker & Copyright: Grégory Delaunay

Medium: steel, silver, wood (maple & walnut), bronze

Measurements: overall lenght 92cm in total; 77cm cutting edge, 5cm wide, gradually decreasing

Sold: Private collection, France

The sword has three central bars each composed of 17 layers. The edges are damask laminated layers while the pommel and the guard are made of bronze, decorated with a pommel inlaid with silver wire. The hilt and scabbard are made of maple wood.
