Belated: for Wednesday, March 11th
Jun. 4th, 2015 01:42 amWednesday March 11th:
Purple had contemplated hitting up the cafe at the top of the hill for lunch, but turned out not to after all.
https://planetmichigan.wordpress.com/2014/01/04/winter-loon-rescue/ Kissing the loon for luck!
I did get the phone number for the department at the contractor management company, but they're out of state so they do close early.
Purple dropped a groan-worthy comment into #cupcake, then showed up and looked over my shoulder to see if there were any replies. There weren't, but I groaned, and grinned, and held up two fingers. Purple touched his fingers to mine.
It's basically unnatural to leave work when there's still light outside, even just a little. Purple asked how my day was, as we've both been just so zonked and busy. There were a few mosquitoes. We tried to catch them, but were too slow.
Purple hugged me goodnight. It was very nice, after the better part of a week without, between the one thing and another.
My sleepybrain pitched the idea of Cordelia Naismith being let loose in a military ship crossover. Steamroller Cordelia in "A More Perfect Union." I think it would pre-date Ari II, but I'm a little shaky on the dates in that universe.
