The other day it was time to re-sheet the bed. I took the opportunity to request help placing the under-bed straps intended to clamp to sheets to keep them from falling off. (Sheet bondage!) That went much less well than we were hoping. At one point the mattress decided to body-slam Belovedest into the exposed bedframe. It's at least a week later and they still have a sore foot and a spectacular bruise on their butt. One of the little crossbars bent in the process.
Belovedest took last week off, and it was good to have them around. They played a lot of video games and got a lot of little home projects done.
"And I'm supposed to invite you into my home?" -- a Craigslist person, validating the fact that Lunatic is not a good last name for my driver's license. (The under-bed table was already claimed by someone else.)
The younger birds are the only ones visible in the pen next door. I hope the older ones are okay.
Ginger emailed last night out of the blue, and I gave her a highlights reel of the past 15 years. The summary version still took about two hours to compose.
