less angry neck, more "stardust"
Mar. 8th, 2022 12:12 amBelovedest is doing OK after the whiplash. More tedious phonecalls, whee!
I decided today was Bath Afternoon, and arranged myself comfortably in the tub with a beverage and snacks and reading material and some bubbles. Everything was going great until I dropped an M&M in, and then it was hilarious. Fortunately it didn't dye my foot weird colors.
Belovedest had a work-related thing, but after that we did a three-store run, plus gasoline because Belovedest's been driving my toaster to work while we wait for the auto body people. There were not, in fact, chicken pieces in the downstairs freezer, so the plan for chicken and salad was called off. But there were frozen burger patties, and I made some of those happen.
We got very close to dishbox 0. Hooray! I also went through some of the objects in the fridge and took a look at them and discarded some. We have two open containers of bbq sauce, which probably happened after one of them got shoved in the back-back of the bottom shelf. Belovedest took the drawer that needed washing downstairs to the utility sink, hooray.
This year there were the big containers of the pastel M&Ms, which I always think taste better than the fully saturated ones. Why? No idea, except that I like the look better. So we have some of those.
The night security guard at the Safeway likes to kid around with people. I like him.
We flomped on the bed a bit to decompress from shopping. Yellface had been crying in the bedroom. She came and sat on my back for a little while, pinning me down. Good kitten.
We finally saw some of the 20oz containers of "Stardust" coke at Safeway, and we got one, "for the Vine". We will not be getting more. "Space has a flavr!" Belovedest said, and I could hear the spelling. Ice brings out the scorched cookie crumbs at the bottom of the oven note, so at least they have the burning note correct too?
