A good day. It’s better than the weekend: Shawn and I are speaking again! Not sure how well the breech is mended -- but still, it’s better than nothing. He wanted my cookies again today. He had a bad day: he discovered that Erin was playing with him. Fool! I could have told him that! He cursed interestingly enough. Poor darling. If only I’d known how serious he was, I would have told him in explicit detail how much of a chance he had ... I remember thinking I told him ... I could tell him her exact line of reasoning right now. Little good that would do.
But I had an all-right day. I was in a state of breakdown this morning. That was bad. I was panicking. But by afternoon I was okay, because he actually talked to me at lunch. I surprised him by actually showing up to see The Fifth Element again. We identified one Kim character, one Mr. Friedrich character, two Shawn characters, a handful of River characters, and a generous surfeit of Doug characters. (Not Doug Knight--different Doug. The nerdy little one in STW’s english class.)
Hannah sent a message to Savil. Gods -- a Hannah/Savil romance in the works? Hmmm...could be lotsa fun!!
Milla Jovovich. That’s the name that Shawn wanted me to remember -- the actress playing Leeloo. Pretty nice. Pretty nice. Jean-Paul somethingorother Zorg. That guy is SO a Shawn-character. Apparently this movie challenges The Princess Bride as Shawn’s favorite movie. I want Spaceballs and Robin Hood: Men In Tights for my collection too.
