Coincidentally enough, at 6:10 this morning the phone rang asking

As soon as I get some breakfast in me (one sure way of making yourself ill or unconscious is to Work w/o proper fuel!) my happy lithium quartz point and I will be playing Dr. McCoy long range.
Happy lithium quartz!
Whee, this is cool!

Smells like Magick...
Mar. 5th, 2002 03:45 pmI want to know how to duplicate this perfume. It's probably something fairly inexpensive, and if I could just find some...
Problem: it's over eight years old, and it's from Russia... the old USSR, even.
It's the scent I wear whenever I'm going to have a productive day, a seductive day, a high-energy witchy day...
I talked to Raven today, and left an English muffin with peanut butter, and incense.

Cleaning house some today, getting carpets vacuumed, middle of living room cleaned out of boxes. I suppose moving around of computers should come next. Adam brought home cable last night, so we can rearrange and rewire the house as we see fit.
This afternoon, Adam's little brother Pestilence came by, and the bald guy, and they hung out for a while while Adam was getting dressed and ready to go. I can tell who's the younger and who's the older by the flow of teasing. Adam had already told me the primary embarrassment story with the Flexol 454, so I laughed at Pestilence.
Nice to have young laughter in the house. The living room feels bright and clean. Shut the cat in the west bedroom and opened the front door to air out the house. Should really install a baby-gate and something in the doorway to be able to have it open while the cat's around, so fresh air can flow in while it's still spring and cool enough to let the sunlight flood in.

Very, very quiet.
Mar. 5th, 2002 05:06 pmA perfect day, almost. Sun shining in through the front door (wish we had a screen door!) computers happily buzzing away; Inanna updated on some of my addresses; a note left for Votania on Ishtar, once she synchronizes it; the apartment looking cleaner and happier.
I'm seeing what-all I can put away, and where it will go best. I am happy. I am delighted.
Poor Marx is feeling wretched and is hopefully asleep. The cat's in there with him ... and his mom just called, making all hopes of him being asleep null and void. Poor guy. I hope he gets better soon.
The Temple has become a refuge. We noticed it when Sabrina came here; that, unfortunately, contributed majorly to the rift between her and her mother. We are Sanctuary. Getting booted from Sanctuary is never a good thing.
Cleaning up the computer/sewing machine corner. ENKI moved out here when Tigereye went down. Now, we'll try and juggle/jiggle Adam's server back into where it's supposed to go, and make the living room habitable by civilized people again.

...Mountain Dew...

I love you man. You are probably the drink with the most fan clubs ever. A lot of people depend of you and your caffeine content to keep them up all night. Others are just addicted.
Find your inner cola.
and
a Devil Duck!

All ducks aren't sweet and innocent and you prove that. You have a nasty streak.
Find your inner rubber ducky.

AzureLunatic:computers invade
geeks upon living room floor
a new system! yay!
GodaiYuh: sweet new computer
joining the networks orgy
all with a wires snap
Adam, Bald Guy, and Pestilence wound up putting a new system together right in the middle of my living room floor. Very nice and geeky and fun. Nephew watched with great interest. Votania was more interested in getting Marx out to his mother's house; he was feeling too ill to ride the bus, so Votania commandeered a ride from Pestilence, who has a big honkin' old boat of a used car now.
Echo called back here because Votania paged him with an unfamiliar phone number (my cell) and grumped that we need to use area codes when paging him with unfamiliar phone numbers. (Hint, hint.) We shot the breeze about computer stuff, and ancient social history, and astrology. I need a new outlet for my creative forces, to prevent a bad power surge.
