Sped up again

Pork

I today in Sam's Club tried something they were giving out samples of: the hot pocket thing with cheese, egg, bacon. Votania can't eat pork; she barfs. Nephew is supervised closely, lest he develop the same problem.

I ate it and I got all dizzy. Think that pork will eventually wind up making me hallucinate. Came to senses again at least 2 hours later.

Playing with Microsoft Streets & Trips

Seeing what I can do to make the trip somewhat easier for everyone concerned. I remember what happened the last time I dealt with this program, but still, I think this trip will be far better considering that this time, I won't be with BJ. My aunt-fayoumis is far nicer than BJ, and easier to talk with...

Last time I was on a serious road trip, it was with my then-fiance BJ, who was not a great one for playing well with others when it came to following directions. He'd follow them all right, but there was serious Attitude going both ways, and he wasn't one for bothering to do things in the daylight that shouldn't be done at night in the pouring rain, such as setting up tents.

After the first night in Anchorage, I wanted to head home and recover from the vacation for the two days before I had to go to work again. But no... ack.

It was... one of those trips.

Did I mention the getting lost in Anchorage due to the accuracy of the Microsoft map? That was fun. And in the best neighborhood, too...

The master plan

I've plotted our route on my computer from Phoenix to gods know where in Iowa (this will be changed tomorrow when my aunt awakens and has input on where we're going) and several stops along the way. I've input the day by day driving instructions to my palmtop; there will be changes made at powerup stations along the way. I am noble, efficient, and slightly drunk.

Plans for Day 1 include popping by to say hi and make faces at Darkside, if Aunt Fayoumis so desires.

Holy shit, what's doing this?

My allergies just got turned on again, by what I'm not sure. Within the last few hours. I've been sniffly slightly since sometime earlier this evening (8 or 9 or so?) and am now at half of nose plugged.

Can't take meds, of course, since I just have been sipping at a rather full shot glass of my special maple mead stuff.

Showering; sexual histories

Aunt-fayoumis and I are sharing girl-gossip about everything under the sun: sex, drugs, rock & roll. Well, our ex-boyfriends, other misbehaviors of youth, and what we're going to listen to in the car. We're both going to grab showers, and then we'll be off.

Since I only got the three hours of sleep, I'll probably catch a nap in the car.
