Home again, home again, jiggity-jig.
Jul. 11th, 2002 10:40 pmWell, I'm home, and semi-sane. Darkside reluctantly declined my proposal that we see movies together sometime before school starts up Monday on the grounds that he's resume-writing.
Various things have been going on here and there, of course.
I'll be updating when I get Tigereye set up again, and the network, and so forth. Votania's new box Red has stolen Tigereye's cat-5 cable for the moment.

Called Darkside fairly soon after I got in. He got the postcards I sent him. His parents didn't comment on and/or didn't notice the runes. He sounded happy to talk with me. I was glad to be talking with him. I would have talked longer, only there was someone calling: drat call waiting!
Aunt-Fayoumis and Votania teased me while I was on the phone with Darkside. General gigglishness all over. Darkside doubted that I'd giggled my ass off, because it had still been attached to me the last time he'd kicked it.
...I love him and I miss him. He would prefer that I not call him "sweetheart", "dear", or a few other endearments; it's more than somewhat discomfiting for him. I put my foot royally in my mouth when I began to refer to him as "my Darkside" to Votania and Aunt-Fayoumis: he laughed. He sounded happy.
