Dawn got to take a look at a particular tarot reading that I did, just the cards, without hearing my interpretation beforehand, without knowing what or who the reading was about.
Dawn reported to me later that Darkside, who was sitting across the table from her, started having his eyes bugging out partway through that reading.
Isn't it spooky when people start talking about your life as if they knew what was going on?
There was another half to that reading, but that half was for my eyes, and mine alone. I have it written down, the whole thing, so I can look back on it later. I'm thinking of writing up my own interpretations of each of the cards, as I'm becoming more proficient with them, far better at looking at cards, taking half a sideways glance at life, and rearranging everything to fit, coming up with insights that I didn't know I was coming up with.
I still think that my deck tossing me the three of swords (my deck is the Dragon Tarot) while I was donating plasma was delightfully funny, as the illustration depicts three swords piercing a heart, and blood dripping out.
I'm contemplating requesting Darkside to help me revive the Lunatic. Azure Lunatic, ex-nun vampire, clan Malkavian. I may never get a chance to play her again; I just want to have her character sheet to hand so that I may play her if I have the opportunity, without having to stop then to make her up again.
Creativity shall be released. I might want to get into gaming.
...Darkside's got gaming friends at school again now. He used to have A.K., but A.K. graduated and doesn't hang out at school anymore. Now he's got Dawn (he's had her as a friend for longer than he's had me, but she's only become closer recently), and
ralmathon, and Bald Guy; there are some others creeping in there: Loren, Panther, and he's even started talking to the Annoying Atheist. (I have yet to collect his opinion on that guy. I must say, he's toned down a lot in early mornings at school versus his late-evening out of school self.)
I'm glad Darkside has friends. He needs friends. He needs friends he can talk gaming with.
