Happy Holidays!

Happy holidays, everyone.

Oh, and did you hear that invite codes are coming back?

Spice!

Last night, I made some modified spice cakes. I wrapped them in foil and left them out on the counter.

This morning, I wandered over, to find a fortune from a fortune cookie on top of the larger one: Ideas you believe are absurd ultimately lead to success!

It's absurd, all right, but I'm happy for the confirmation.

Past several days...

Wednesday: Went to class, came home, napped, was woken up by the alarm and went out to pick up the Little Fayoumis (narrowly escaping being hit by a car crossing the street). After some time of banging around the house aimlessly, I went out and tried to settle matters regarding the phone. No such luck. So I came home again, then went shopping. After that, I made the modified spotted dick -- spice cake and raisins instead of a steamed pudding.

Thursday: woke up at the alarm clock, slept off and on for the next hour and a half, went out to do errands, came back home. Picked up the Little Fayoumis, did laundry, prepared obsessively for the prank, and headed off on the bus to meet up with my roommatesister.

And then... the execution of the prank!
