Hooray for mornings.

It is a morning!

I have a Cunning Plan: I bet Darkside's going to be home today! And I can ambush him! Maybe with pie.

I think I actually got enough sleep last night, in part due to my crashing out around 6, waking up at 9, crashing again at 10, waking up at ten 'til 1, and then crashing at 3 and sleeping until the alarm at 6.

Work! It's what we do in the morning!

Slow morning at work. I'm in monitoring already. And
it's slow enough on the phones.

Eeep, the other monitors took my work.

Sleeping on the phone is a bad, bad plan. Much to the
dismay of the phone goon in question.

Trendy Chick likes my hair-thing. I like it too.
Trader Joe's Queen Monitor likes it three. Whee! I
think I've found a winning hairstyle. So much classier
to package twisted-up hair into a jeweled bun than to
slap it in a ponytail because it's tangly and wet and
I don't feel like dealing with it. Which was the case
this morning. I had to get a shower first thing,
because I'd been too tired to get a shower last night.


One of the phone goons was barking at a respondent the
other day. There's not much I can say to add to that.
Except for the fact that it was the same person who
heard a standard office phone ringing on the line,
mimicked it (very well), and then said, "I don't know
what the hell that was."

Looks like it's going to be an early shift. Am hoping
that I can get done with all my work in a prompt
fashion, leading to happiness and perhaps time spent
with blonder half.

One of the random phone goons just complimented me on
my hair. I think I should take this as a hint.

It's going to be an early shift today for most jobs.
Most of $ISSUE_SIDE_JOB went home already. I think
there's one person left. Rev. Not-So-Nice Supervisor
asked for volunteers to go home.

Two hours driving. Ten minutes conversation, if that. Life is good. Car-headache is bad.

Saw the Darkside. Yay the Darkside.

Must find MS Access textbook.

Got a hug and a handprint on my back for my troubles.

May have accidentally shared my shiny star with the parents, given that I was wearing it in choker-mode today. Only hope is that Necklace of Pens drowned it out. Or they already know. Either will do. And since Darkside didn't hiss at me to hide it, I don't think it was too much of a problem.

Next week will be bad on the timing too, so no use visiting then. Good to know. ... he knows what my voice sounds like when I'm plotting to visit him, a day or two in advance of the actual visiting.
