I'm either coming down with something, or it's allergy season and I'm having breakthrough allergies. Dammit. Since I'm not feeling ill, I'm thinking it's the allergies.

Guess what I got. Hello work1 support boards. I start next Tuesday. It is late enough I can even make group if we won't stay too late at dinner.

Hooray for words!

I'd interviewed a week ago for the internal email helpdesk position (supporting the public via email, rather than supporting internal issues either through or involving email). Today I was offered the position, and I accepted. My new shift is going to be very entertaining -- 10:30pm start to 7am finish. WIN!! That's about 4 hours later than I like staying up at night, but I can work with it, especially given that I'm now waking up about six to seven hours before I prefer to wake up.

I also have some allergies breaking through and attacking, but that's of secondary importance.
