Today was mostly sleep.

Upon hearing a deeply contrite "apology" from someone who has just been kicked out of elsejournal, I was moved to these words: "This reads like the enthusiastic backpedaling of someone who is deeply and honestly sorry that they got chewed up one side and down the other and regrets having been caught being a pompous blowhard without portfolio. I am certain that he regrets each and every harsh word that has been heaped upon him in the absence of his ability to comment back."

Phoenix is really not used to weather like this.

• Friday, 1420: Dude at work came up and poked me. I gave him a look. "I told my sup I was going over to poke you, so I did!" said he. Indeeeeeeeeeed.
• Friday, 1421: Gave dude chocolate. Dude poked me again, lots. Dealt a (mime) punch to the face. He made a note of this.
• Friday, 1453: I have clearance to borrow a cup of SNAKE. *evil, evil, evil grin*
