Old Stuff, Sept 25-30

I woke up Saturday morning to find that Facebook had pissed me off yet again. I got rantyfaced. There was a gay rights activist being dismissive of Folsom on Facebook, and it hit all the wrong buttons.
Other than my extreme rantyfacedness about in the morning, I went over to my aunt's to help out with the dog training stuff, as per usual. After the class, I helped her go through her notes and type stuff up and get the training plan for the class all right and orderly. Then I went home and crashed because there was !!FOLSOM!! the next day.
In between typing stuff up, I was ranting on Twitter about the person, and how I really, really, really no longer actually trusted them. Being obviously dismissive of something that's a core identity thing of people you know is not a trait that I find helpful.

It took me a while to get out the door on Sunday, but once I did, I headed to Folsom and had a fabulous time.
Then we all went to JD's for dinner, which was fun, and I sobered up and went home.

Monday! Internet! Choice comments included "Somewhere out there, a little baby spammer is flapping its wings, as its mother chews up bits of blog post to regurgitate to feed it."

Tuesday! Internet! There was a hilarious conversation that @maureenjohnson was hosting, about the crackilicious extremes that bookbanners might go to. I came up with a whole scare-language thing about "The rhythmic rapid displacement of gasses (most often nitrogen) can cause PERMANENT PHYSICAL DAMAGE @ high intensity! #fact" -- "Impressionable YOUNG CHILDREN can find particular rhythmic rapid displacement of nitrogen gas (RRDNG Transmissions) pleasant!!"
Then there was Glee, the Britney episode, and that was at least entertaining. Rachel continues to surprise me with the depths she sinks to. Crackhouse indeed.

Wednesday, I tried to catch up on my hilariously behind self-documentation. Ah, the meta, it burns.

Thursday, I was still awake when the smoke alarm started chirping, which fairly well scared me even wider awake. Then I was dogsitting for my aunt, who was off on a fishing day trip with my uncle.
@isntit was at a thing called the "Kernel Club", which was more hipster and less geeky than it sounds, which had tweets showing up on their big screen. Their big screen was trolled in short order.
Mr. Poodle did not like the zucchini that he'd had with breakfast. I was un-enthused.
I did wind up watching more of Tales of the City, which was fun. This bit included Mrs. Madrigal's Big Secret, which ... is apparently far less shocking in this day and age, and in my social crowd, than it would have been then and there. Even in San Francisco.
Went to TV Night, had hilarious fun.
