Nov. 19th, 2013 07:04 amThe trouble with having read that brief guide to suits is seeing that guy wearing a single-assed jacket and thinking "you're not getting on a horse in that thing!" ... and then he does anyway.
The trouble here being that the dude purports to be the sort of guy who would know these things. Which it is entirely understandable that someone raised now, out of common exposure to what jacket you ride a horse in is, would miss, and I didn't catch it until seeing the things in close succession.
Alas.
An ex and I once argued over whether or not ignorance was actually bliss. I argued no. He argued yes, because you cannot have the delight of learning things without the previous state having been ignorance. Ignorance does lead to fewer little things bothering you, though...
