*rapid-fire sneezing*
Jan. 27th, 2020 12:53 amI seem to be on the up-swing from this cold, but it's sufficiently nasty that Belovedest has taken their breathy-machine to the living room and camped out in the dragon-sized comfy chair, so they can sleep through me sneezing miserably in the wee hours.
Belovedest brought home a cold last weekend, and then I had an interview up in the city on Monday, and wound up straining my lungs. That had me fairly flattened until Friday, and just as I was starting to recover from that, it was my turn for the cold.
I got my flu shot in the fall.
Mostly my sinuses are peeved and my throat is scratchy. I'm full of the malaise.
I doubt it has any relationship to the guy up north of me who brought some novel coronavirus home from a trip, but I'm in no hurry to venture outside and get in contact with people beyond the household. (People within the household have work on Monday, so it's not exactly a quarantine.)
I've been reading, and leaving a trail on Goodreads as I gallop through a mix of library books and ebooks I bought and meant to read someday. Apparently half-brain from sick sleep deprivation is someday enough.
Seanan's Middlegame was last night, and that was A Lot. It made my inner Gifted Child sit up and take notice. I'll have to re-read when not spaced out.
