A very cyclobenzaprine day
Jan. 5th, 2022 11:54 pmI woke up at 4 am with angry hips and general ouch. After about an hour I realized that the solution to this problem was probably cyclobenzaprine. I could feel it kicking in and perhaps I need more sleep and more muscle relaxing this afternoon.
Last evening on AITA was pretty rough -- there was a guy with a really impossible no-win scenario. Reading the discussion dragged out some emotions, and that came up in therapy today. tl;dr saying goodbye to Dad was a gift to him, for the sake of less suffering in the world. I should defrost a piece of cheesecake.

09:08 PM <yellcat> How do I shot web3?
09:08 PM <phone> i love how is wabby formed
09:08 PM <phone> 10/10
I had to explain to Belovedest that I was referencing "how is babby formed" and there were giggles.
I did wind up taking some more things and falling over in a nap. I feel very refreshed now that I'm awake again.
Alex did chicken soup (add your own starch) last night, and it turns out that my preferred chicken soup starch is crusty bread dipped in. I did some vegetable slicing (at my desk with the finger-slicer) and Alex is starting the stove work. This time the broth is onion soup out of a box.
In fandom, I remember Wheel of Time with fondness, but I'm slightly reluctant to dip my toe back in, and I think it may be PTSD-adjacent. My Extremely Regrettable Ex, BJ, was the one who introduced me to that fandom. I remained reading the books for quite a while after, and I recall placing a phone call to Darkside from the break room of that wretched call center job "when I got to that part" (as he defined it) and that's a good memory. Probably something to bring up later.
