Calico-related incursions
Jan. 20th, 2022 11:48 pmI got some better pictures of Escape Calico on my desk. I am due a desk-cleaning, and maybe she will make different decisions when there are more and different inappropriate ways to scale my desk.
Last night was bad sleep. I woke up midway through with cranky body, and then it made sense to stay up for shower time and only after that fall back asleep. Weird dreams.
Nora has a new place! The logistics there involve Boomer parents diversifying their housing portfolio but the result is an apartment that ticks all the boxes. I'm getting intermittent interior design pictures.
Yellface wanted up on my lap when I was at my desk. So I invited her up and she wound up climbing on the back of my chair, which reminded her that she likes it up there. So she went and perched on Belovedest's desk chair just to establish that she could. (Belovedest was on the couch.) After that she went back to my chair, after I abandoned it for video games.
It's Awesome Games Done Quick time, and we watched a few before it became bedtime. Belovedest made the dragon-sized chair sittable, so we mirrored machine 2 on both screens A & B so we could both see our areas of interest.
There's a new chapter of Snipers up, and that and other fic kept me busy reading.
Mama has sent a box of keyboards.
