games, sleep
Feb. 5th, 2022 11:08 pmAction movies aren't particularly restful as dreams. I had three in a row recently, and I didn't want to go back to sleep after some of them. One of them had a portable panic room that was also a bathroom cubicle (kind of like ones I've seen on trains) and two malevolent but somewhat incompetent men who wanted to capture and/or dispose of me, because I'd noticed what they were up to. My dad made a cameo as a person who didn't understand what was going on, was still active and mobile and able to wreak havoc, but was doing the exact wrong thing under the circumstances.
The wheat-pillow that Ev gave me is a bit too heavy and a bit too warm for an ideal eye mask (it was intended as a microwave-to-heat neck entity) but it does help a lot with the process of lying down intending to sleep but having my eyes pop open when I get bored with doing nothing.
Belovedest's siblings proposed fun with games, and that was good. I took my meds around the first sign of stiff neck, and was able to sit up all game. Yay, me!
