bad night, slightly less bad day
Jul. 10th, 2022 09:02 pmAround 4am, I woke up in digestive pain, in time to register that Steph was having a different kind of Bad Night. Despite my best efforts, the next 9 hours in my life were Bad.
by 1pm, I was able to sleep, if by "sleep" you mean dozing off, waking up in 10 to 30 minutes covered in sweat and shivering and needing to adjust position so I could continue breathing even though my abs had thoroughly punched me in the stomach earlier. I contemplated the benefits of the hospital.
Belovedest brought me mint tea and graham crackers, then later a very small cup of strawberry soda so I could actually contemplate "food". By 7pm or so, I was able to contemplate some instant breakfast, thanks to Alex, and in another hour the rest of the instant breakfast and the morning pills that mostly don't need food.
When I emerged to see whether lounging was better than lying down (yes) Yellface did a concern at me. (Walking: not better, and more likely to give me audio effects associated with passing the fuck out soon.)
Belovedest is doing cryptic things to the network, mainly involving the pi-hole, I think. Shopping didn't happen, alas. And I will probably need a ride to my Tuesday appointment. Possibly also a good shove in a transfer chair.
