Ham (a lot)
Dec. 19th, 2022 12:26 amToday I ADHD-ed my way through making ham hash for breakfast, then turned the rest of that particular bag into split pea soup. That was dinner.
I also realized that there is only my body and potentially entropy stopping me from making dark chocolate orange bits, snack sized. I have access to good dark chocolate. I have a sheet of small heart molds from the crunchy frog project. (Searching "crunchy frog" is going to get you a moderately gross & gruesome Monty Python sketch; that is the source but I was attempting jam centers with a stretch goal of crisp rice.)
The most potentially entropic bit is the citrus oil. I'll need to smell it before entrusting it to chocolate, since there's a chance it may have gone off.
I want to use a mold because I want easy to identify shapes, and uniform. We're at the point of putting other treats in the Jingle Jangle tin.
We also finished watching Our Flag Means Death, and what a ride, man.
