* About 2/3 through radiotherapy.

* Thanks to palliative care's pain management, I am no longer at the outside of my acetaminophen envelope, and I'm starting to be able to walk again.

* Got my eyes checked today. New prescription, and prescription for reading glasses/progressive lenses if I decide to get some.

* The noonish Costco parking lot was pretty rough today, with a fire truck, initiative petitioners, absolutely saturated accessible parking spots (I got screamed at by someone with a blue tag; I waved my red tag at her; she took the spot, which was not actually an accessible spot just next to one)

* Slurpees are my friends when it comes to actually getting liquids into me before my radiotherapy appointments (probably not after the weather changes)

* Gems of War has some new stupid updates; guild continues pretty good. The three tasks and double XP for 15 minutes reward are moderately fun. You can wait to collect it until you have 15 minutes to devote to playing as many games as you can; at least until the end of day server time, where it goes into your inbox as an uncollected reward with 6 days' lifespan. I'm going to see if you can activate 2 of them simultaneously, and if so, what happens. :D

* Today's radiotherapy tech gave me a mini tour of the equipment. There's the beam emitter thing, the panel behind it which can capture a rough image during treatment of where all the things are; the kilovolt imaging thing where they can get a more detailed image, and the panel behind it. The rest of the electronics are pretty cool but today was not a good day to look at those. Maybe another time.

* Scent of the moment: Andromeda's Curse, "Wyvern".

* Health project of the moment: which transparent waterproof dressings am I not allergic to? Some (but not all) versions of Tegaderm give me the itch. I have never had particular trouble with the versions that go over my IVs, and never with the underside, but they used it on the biopsy and two of the four edges became A Problem. I have a showy scar to illustrate. "No problem," said port placement, "we use IV 3000 anyway."
I think you can see where this is heading.
It's possible that if they hadn't cut off about half the peach tape edges of the IV 3000 Standard, I wouldn't have reacted. But the bottom cut edge was itching me bad enough by 4-ish PM the day of that I called the department and asked what I should do about this. The eventual advice (once the person who answered the page found the resident and he'd called me back) was to peel it off and just trust the superglue.
I have asked my GP if she thinks she could refer me to an allergist to try and figure out WTF.
It's also possible that my morning famotidine masks the symptoms for long enough that I don't start reacting immediately.

* Weather has been switching between hot and cold, and I have been variously over and under estimating my clothing needs.

* Saturday there was a little class about upcycling denim and related materials. Belovedest took me. I made (with their copious help in laying out, trimming, and pinning) two little bags out of a black and white striped canvas with lemons on it, and a much narrower navy and white stripe fabric for a lining. The lining fabric was a slinky stretch fabric that was absolute ass to handle. The workshop leader told me that she absolutely would not have recommended that one to work with on this. I agreed but I'd liked it so much. And I made it work.
