Alas, chair
Oct. 22nd, 2023 11:04 amTried to get the power chair into a Toaster yesterday to visit IKEA. Ramp was too short, and the attempt drained most of my strength. I nearly dropped my part.
Fortunately Belovedest discussed the "cut off the handles" section of the instructions to install the better push arms on my big manual chair, because the way they took it (cut off the metal) was not the actual intention (cut off the plastic hand grips).
We encountered a fellow nonbinary flag person at the checkout. Alas, they were out of little straw ornaments. But I did get my replacement shopping bag (tiny nylon folding).
After we got home, Belovedest had a game party and I had a less bad stomach attack with just moderate pain on account of I did some of the right things to halt it before it got worse.
