Not quite a sandwich
Sep. 3rd, 2024 08:14 pmLast night we were going to have soup, salad, and a sandwich. I had retrieved all the sandwich materials from the refrigerator! Then I looked at the sourdough.
No sandwiches after all. Damn.
First I sulked. Then I thought. Perhaps the situation could be salvaged after all.
Some rustling and rattling later, I carried a couple sandwich-swords into the living room, strung with pickle slices, artistically folded salami, less artistically folded roast beef with mustard, and cheddar cheese.
Soup, salad, and ... swords? I'll take it!
