I've been reading a lot.
Today I picked back up my book (writing) because today was a Not NaNoWriMo Feast Day: Halfway Day (ish), with pie and a mug exchange. Please don't come if you or someone in your household has had some kind of contagious (or potentially contagious) illness in the last week.
...and Belovedest is still sneezing.
So I asked the organizer if there was a way to still participate! And we carefully wrapped some mugs (all in the same paper, so she could tell anyone with health concerns which mugs were from us in case they needed to know a thing like that) and dropped the bag off at the meeting place. And then got breakfast and came home with the tickets in time for the exchange drawing.
My audio on the desktop with that setup was not doing great, so I found an appropriate channel to relay text via. It was kinda clunky, but fun. I got a few words in, things I've been thinking about in my time away.
We'll pick up our mugs at the Winter Potluck in December. And our organizer (ex-ML) is thinking about maybe quarterly chill sessions.
