Clean *all* the things?!

Belovedest has taken some time off. Consequently, Belovedest has started doing Cleaning Projects. Today, I helped with The Recycling, The Pantry, and The Jam Pantry, and then (complaining all the while and making some Concerning noises) I unloaded the baking shelves and weeded out several forms of preserved milk and two rancid oils. Among other things.

Don't sniff Crisco that was best by 2018, folks. Just ... save your noses and trust that it's no longer Helpful.

So, that was Wednesday.

My plan for Thursday involves sliced vegetables, chicken broth, cornbread, and maybe browning a bunch of sausage. Since that dish is the one most likely to cause delays, as well as having components that can be usefully Done Ahead.

Friday will be the feast day, due to household schedules.

(The Recycling now has two bins for e-waste: one for "fun" e-waste and one for the other kind. In addition to glass, batteries, and spicy light bulbs. The fun type can be unscrewed and explored at a library program on Unscrewing And Exploring Electronics. The other kind shouldn't be.)
