a pull request, and a pelvic exam
Dec. 18th, 2024 10:35 pmTrying Joplin (note taking/to-do) and one of the very first things I did was submit a pull request for their docs, due to some of them being way too obscure. (Where do you find the settings for the web clipper? Where?! Says the aggressive goose of the meme.)
Another routine appointment today, with the merely oncology-adjacent gyn. ( Read more... ) It was a refreshingly brief appointment, and I was able to pull on my under-layers while we were having the post-exam discussion, so I was able to walk out of the room right after her.
The cheerleader at the front desk was on duty while I was there, yay; I showed off my current makeup and he agreed: very much serving Effie Trinket, and did I know that The Hunger Games are his fave? Heh. :D
I went to WinCo, and got the cart with the bad battery again. So I found myself rowing with both feet to get to the front end. The person ahead of me in line seemed anxious and apologized to me about having so many things (I had just a few); I said that honestly I was fine to sit there, that might help the battery recover enough to get me to the outlets. (It almost did. By which I mean, I was beeping and rowing the whole way, and then it halted right in front of the exit doors. I turned it off and back on again.)
norabombay is simultaneously on vacation, doing the end-of-year rush, and working on a project. I offered myself as a candidate for body doubling.
