Brunch in bed with cat

Slice an alligator pear to complement the bacon.
Toast and butter a Costco Belgian waffle.
Briefly (about 15 seconds for 6oz) heat some frozen blackberries in the microwave, then roll them in coarse sugar.
Coffee, with vanilla, cream, and sugar. Select a long straw.
Use a wide bowl or generously lipped plate or small pie dish.
Carefully arrange in bed. (I have a plastic bin wedged between blanket-covered pillows for my cups.)
Invite cat to sit on you.
(Other household brunch staples include corned beef hash with cheddar and capers, and cheesy garlic broccoli. I have also recently discovered garlic knots as a thing I can make, and yessssssss.)
