Work & related issues
Sep. 24th, 2005 01:05 amWork today featured seating done at the last minute by someone who does not do it very often. Thus, half the supervisors were seated in places rather than pulled to assist by the seating chart -- four out of the eight scheduled in, and it's almost impossible to put three of the other four on the seating chart. 1pm people were seated in dayshift booths,
othercat was nowhere, and same-sex couples married each other in the streets, causing the complete breakdown of society as we know it.
After that, things settled down some, but there was a lot of paperwork to be done. Payday weekend generally means more cracktastic joy; there was a lot less cracktastitude than I'd been planning on.
Security guard shoes. (Return of the Jelly Baby Joke.)
The actual security guard's cellphone, and how it actually resists being reached.
Lots of paperwork.
LOTS of paperwork.
Oh, and a 10-hour shift for Saturday to prepare for.
