Hee.
All in all, it was that kind of morning that I'm going to be giggling about for ages.
First, when I put my hand on Darkside's shoulder as if to nerve-pinch him, he leaned over and bit my wrist gently. He did this two more times at various points throughout the morning.
After we'd both gone to our first classes, we wound up sitting together out in the courtyard while he was converting spells from one version of Diablo into another one. I was leaning on his chair to watch. Since the courtyard chairs have no backs, I was leaning on the seat of the chair (they're these blocklike teal blue things), and, inevitably, he moved his behind and sat on my hand. He requested that I move it.
He did not smack me down when I deliberately groped his behind after pulling my hand out from under him.
Much giggleage caused, later, to Neighbor and Dawn and
evealone.
After I came back from giggling, I accompanied Darkside up to the library to copy some character sheets from his game book. Walking back, we played at martial arts in the hallway, my initial strike at his side and his retaliation replayed, growing into a more complex interaction each time. Finally, in wrapping legs around each other, I fell smack on my seat, then flat on my back. Darkside helped me up, and commented that this was a change from my usual stability: usually, he's unable to knock me over.
A good morning, friendship-wise.
