Programming space
Jun. 8th, 2003 12:51 amI wrote a note to my father the other night, talking about my difficulties with being off in another world while programming.
My mother said that FatherSir had been impressed, because he'd thought that he was the only one who had that happen to him.
FatherSir's very very solitary and private. I don't think it occurred to him to ask about the phenomenon, which is very common amongst hackers.

*sigh* Wait for it...

Mmmm, food.
Jun. 8th, 2003 04:48 pmI was cleaning out the cupboards last night, and was moved to make a pot of chili.
There were all those beans in there, see. And they never had anything done with them.
So, I tossed them in the crock pot and started them to stewing. I added garlic salt and onion powder, and, later, tomato sauce, and a little bit of brown sugar.
Chili. Yummy, not-too-spicy, vegetarian chili.
I put a sprinkling of chili powder in there, just for the flavor. Yay! Yay for flavor!
We'll all be able to add our own Tabasco. It's good. It's very good. And I made it!
