Lotion hands, wash dishes
Feb. 23rd, 2022 09:45 pmMonday was fairly well consumed with sleep, and then the aftermath of two hours of crying off and on, but mostly on. It was a lovely ceremony.
Tuesday was a lot of recovery, including some dishes and some Roomba business. I wore glitter as part of my colorful attire, and glitter, of course, spreads eagerly. Chunky holographic silver hex glitter is now spreading around the house like the flat silver sequins from my disco ball dress did after I put it through a too-hot dryer a decade-ish ago. (Her glitter for a blessing.)
My car battery warning tripped off last night (and tonight the freeze light went on over the fireplace, so I expect that I will need to exercise the car again, sooner rather than later) so this afternoon after overcoming my inertia (I started the intent to venture forth when it was still morning) I did a small shopping and then a longer drive to make sure the alternator had a chance to catch up.
With only a few days until the due date, I have started Jade City by Fonda Lee, and I am 26% in and enjoying myself greatly. The magic system is a delight!
