Woo Fucking Hoo: toaster fun
Jul. 17th, 2022 10:34 pmLast night, I observed to Belovedest, "Do you hear that sound like something rubbing? Sounds like something related to a rear wheel."
This afternoon, some maniac on the highway drove in a way that the rational response was a rapid lane change and rapid acceleration.
About 5 minutes later this afternoon, Belovedest's power steering went out.
A note to this effect, along with some billing instructions, has been twist-tied to Belovedest's car key in preparation for a very early morning.
They'll be borrowing my car on all the days I don't have appointments until the relevant Toaster is fixed.
Argh.
In much nicer news, the chicken pieces stuffed with cheese and wrapped with bacon were very tasty with the frozen bread sticks and salad. Even if I couldn't find the dressing I wanted and opened a new one after sending Belovedest to the basement on a wild goose chase, and only then discovered the already open one.
