Cats and bits
Jan. 10th, 2020 05:48 pmYellface is a sleek beast now, very smug and comfortable. She still yells for dinner and for a second helping (she got as much as she wanted to eat at each meal while she was recovering) but is otherwise fairly pleased with life.
She deigns to accept treats from
alexseanchai now, and will go onto their lap to get them.
She likes human seats. She curls up on Alex's seat on the couch, or mine. When Belovedest is sitting in their dragon-sized chair, she sits next to them, occasionally looking at their screen and making comments. She sits next to me while I'm playing gems and tells me when she isn't being sufficiently petted.
The other day the housemates were teasing her about being a Great Old One. She retreated from Alex's spot and began lashing her tentacle from the back of the couch.
Wednesday I met up with someone from the Warren campaign and chatted about Helpful Bits. Yesterday I answered a Craigslist ad about a file cabinet (small) and later went off on a small rescue errand.
Belovedest: "Super-ironically, on the way here, I was thinking about how nice it is to have a partner that you can text when you have locked your keys in the car."
Most of the St. Mark's Day sales have run out of the good stuff by now. I still haven't been able to properly and cheaply stock up on cakefruits.
